The Qinghai-Tibet Cultural Museum is the only comprehensive museum that integrates cultural collection, protection, display and research. There are more than 58,000 cultural relics in the collection, with 16 exhibition halls. The museum has set up the most authoritative Center for the identification of Himalayan cultural relics and a team of experts in the study of Himalayan culture, and has reached a consensus with many large museums at home and abroad to establish an alliance and seek common development. The Qinghai-Tibet Culture Museum has two museums: Qinghai-Tibet Medicine Museum and Qinghai-Tibet Culture Museum. The Qinghai-Tibet Medicine and Culture Museum was officially completed in 2006 with a total construction area of 12,000 square meters. In 2017, with the completion of the main part of the second phase of the Museum with a floor area of 30,000 square meters, the structure of the Qinghai-Tibet Cultural Museum was formed with one museum and two museums. The Qinghai-Tibet Cultural Museum stands on the golden land of Hehuang Valley in Qinghai Province, opening a new chapter for the inheritance, promotion and protection of Tibetan culture.
